One of the most prevalent spots is the Sultaniye Thermal Springs which also has mud baths available. The rejuvenative water and mud there has been used since the Hellenistic times. Another popular spot called “Yuvarlak Çay'' is located on a nearby mountain. It is a combination of various restaurants built on top of a creek. Locals prefer this spot on hot summer days to cool themselves down. If you are feeling adventurous enough you can also swim in the ice-cold water. Located at the other side of the lake lies the ancient city of Kaunos,residents of this city believed that if they placed their tombs higher, they would be closer to god, therefore they built the tombs of kings to the mountain slopes, making the Tombs of Kaunos such an incredible sight to see.
